        2019年11月22日，緬甸商工總會UMFCCI於首都內比都舉辦百年會慶，緬甸各界政要蒞臨會場，並由翁山蘇姬親臨會場於大會中開幕致詞，除了予以緬甸商業政策重要方針外，更提及UMFCCI對於緬甸商業發展的貢獻功不可沒。翁山蘇姬的親臨，得見此次大會之盛大隆重，國立暨南國際大學蘇玉龍校長、管理學院陳建良院長及本計畫中心李芬霞經理、潘進興研究員、李朵拉研究員及吳丞恩助理亦受邀出席，為此次大會台灣唯一代表團，共同歡慶UMFCCI百年會慶。

        翁山蘇姬於致詞後，於會場外展位聆聽緬甸各商會簡介，並給予指導與肯定，而後由UMFCCI主席U Zaw Min Win致詞，並邀請多位國際重要學術研究單位發表重要演講，精闢分析世界局勢、東協未來發展目標及緬甸現況。其中多次提及大數據於緬甸之迫切性與重要性，與我研究中心之目標不謀而合，可見我方之目標正確與洞燭先機。其演講內容亦提供現場所有與會貴賓第一手資訊，為大家指引發展之大方向。

        下午議程為緬甸商業各領域翹楚之研討會，精彩交流與發言使現場掌聲不斷，相信現場與會貴賓皆收穫良多，而會議也順利於下午四點半圓滿結束。
 
        此次參與UMFCCI百年會慶我方受邀參加，不僅顯示我方與緬方之關係良好，更證明了長期努力耕耘的成果。會中多場演講中提及數據對於緬甸的重要性、急迫性及未來性，緬甸長期缺乏準確之數據，而我方之計畫目標與此不謀而合，得見我方之規劃方向精準及遠見。

        本計畫中心人員於會場交流中，結識多位重要人士，除緬甸政府官員外，更結識緬甸個地區商會主席及商界大老等，努力宣傳及推動本專案計畫目標的同時，亦開拓了台緬之間更多橋樑，除了為台緬商業界提供很好的交流連結平台外，更開啟了雙邊學子互相交流、實習等機會。
     
        此次持續拓展我方與緬方各界的良好關係，為未來執行計畫打下最好基礎，同時更加確定我方計畫執行之必要性。因為此次出訪，我方更加深感身負重任，為緬甸的未來做出貢獻、為台緬交流創造更多機會，實為新南向政策中重要的一環。我方將持續努力，再創新高峰！
  
                                         

                                         

On November 22, 2019, the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) held a Centennial Celebration in Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar. Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi visited and gave an opening speech. In addition to giving important guidelines on Myanmar's business policy, she also enhanced that UFCCCI's contribution to Myanmar business development is indispensable. The presence of Aung San Suu Kyi showed the significance of this celebration.

National Chi Nan University President Yuhlong Oliver Su, College of Management Dean Chen Chien-Liang, Project Manager Kate Lee, Project Researcher Jackle Pan, Project Researcher Thawdar Htwe and Project Assistant Sebastien Wu were also invited to attend, as the only delegation of Taiwan to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the UMFCCI.

After the speech, Aung San Suu Kyi listened to the introduction of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of each Myanmar State in the booth which is located outside of the venue, providing guidance and giving praise. UMFCCI Chairman U Zaw Min Win then delivered a speech, and invited a number of international academic research units to give keynote speeches to analyze the world situation, future development goals of ASEAN and current economic situation of Myanmar. Several keynote speakers mentioned to the urgency and importance of big data in Myanmar, which coincided with the goals of our research center. The speakers also provided first-hand information for all the participants to guide the investment direction of the world.

The leading seminars in various fields of business in Myanmar held in the afternoon. The wonderful opinions and comments exchanges from outstanding talents got a very big hand time after time. All the participants attending the meeting have learned a lot. And the meeting ended successfully at 4:30 in the afternoon.
 
Our invitation to participate in the UMFCCI Centennial Celebration not only shows our good relationship with Myanmar, but also proves the results of long-term hard work. Myanmar has long lacked accurate data. The importance, urgency and future of data for Myanmar was mentioned in several speeches during the seminars. “Providing an accurate data of Myanmar” is our top goal. And that is what the vision of our research center is.

During the celebration, our research center members met a number of key person of Myanmar. In addition to the Myanmar government officials, we also met the chairman of regional chambers of commerce and several business tycoons. While working hard to promote the goals of our project, we also developed more bridges includes building a good communication platform between Taiwan and Myanmar business, and opening up opportunities for students to exchange and internships.

This time, we kept expanding our good relations with all respects of Myanmar to lay the foundation for future implementation of the plan. As a result of this visit, we are more deeply aware of our heavy responsibility. We hope we could contribute to Myanmar's future, and create more exchanges opportunities for Taiwan and Myanmar. This is an important part of the New Southbound Policy. We will continue to work hard to get better and go higher level!
